Flensburg Fjord forms the northernmost part of the pilotage area served by the Lotsenbrüderschaft NOK II Kiel / Lübeck / Flensburg. The district extends from the outer fjord to the Port of Flensburg and includes both German waters and Danish waters near the border.
The pilots advise bridge teams on safe navigation within the district.
